Girdle Buster Pie
When Jane and I began dating in Tucson, she made this dessert for me. With the first bite, I new we were meant to be together. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 cups Oreo cookies, crushed
½ stick Butter, melted
1 Can of evaporated milk (5 ½ Oz)
½ cup Sugar
2 Squares, semisweet chocolate
½ tsp Vanilla
1 quart Vanilla Ice Cream, softened
Non-dairy whipped topping
Directions:
Mix crushed cookies and butter and press into a pie plate.
Heat the butter, evaporated milk, sugar, and chocolate squares until thick.
Add vanilla, stir, and let cool.
Spread softened ice cream over crust.
Put cooled sauce mixture over ice cream.
Place in freezer for ten minutes.
Take from freezer and top with whipped cream.
Cover with plastic wrap and freeze.
